Аннотация: The electrical conductivity of molten chloride systems containing different cerium ions has been measured. In order to change stable trivalent state two methods have been used: 1 - applying chlorine pressure; 2 - metallic cerium addition. In both cases the rise of electrical conductivity in comparison with initial one have been observed. The results obtained are explained by electronic conductivity appearance as a result of electron exchange between different valence cerium ions
