Аннотация: Mono- and bis-2-thienyl-substituted 1,3,7-triazapyrenes have been synthesized for the first time via BF3-mediated C–H/C–Li coupling of 1,3,7-triazapyrene with 2-thienyllithium in 33 and 51% yields, respectively. The photophysical properties of these polycyclic azaaromatics have been studied, with emission in the range of 450–500 nm and fluorescence quantum yields of up to 99% in methanol solutions being revealed. The turn-off chemosensing properties of 2-thienyl-substituted 1,3,7-triazapyrenes for the selective detection of nitroaromatics have also been assessed; in particular, the quenching constants according to the Stern–Volmer model, the quenching sphere radius according to the Perrin model, the detection limit and the quenching efficiency have been determined. In particular, 6,8-bis-(thiopen-2-yl)-1,3,7-triazapyrene, characterized by 10 times the quenching constant and limit of detection (LOD) compared to the mono-substituted analog, can be considered as the most promising chemosensor for determining nitroaromatic compounds. DFT calculations confirm the presence of intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) effects in the case of the obtained fluorophores and clarify the quenching mechanism for nitroaromatics.

Аннотация: The present work reports on the synthesis of series of azolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazines and derivatives of azoloazapurines. The synthesized compounds were tested in vitro for antibacterial activity against N. gonorrhoeae and antimycotic activity against Trichophyton interdigitale, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis and Candida albicans. It was found that 10 compounds of the series of 3-nitroazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazine-4-amines 4 exhibit high antibacterial activity (MIC≤15 μg/ml), but do not exhibit antimycotic activity. For compounds active against N. gonorrhoeae, a biological target was predicted from the pharmacophore search method and homologous modeling was carried out for it. The results of molecular docking using the constructed model of dihydrofolate reductase have a good correlation with in vitro tests. Refined docking showed the similarity of the leading compounds positions in the protein active site. The formation of stable non-covalent bonds of the nitro group with the amino acid residues Lys34/Lys55 makes a major contribution to the orienting effect of ligands.

Аннотация: An original approach to achieve the C(sp2)–H azolation of cyclic aldonitrones mediated by Selectfluor® has first been employed. By exploiting a metal-free, visible-light-promoted cross-dehydrogenative C–N coupling reaction between model aldonitrones, 2H-imidazole 1-oxides, and NH-containing azoles, a series of novel azaheterocyclic derivatives have been obtained in yields up to 94%. The elaborated protocol has proved to be appropriate for gram-scale processes and displayed potential for utilization in the synthesis of novel structural analogues of lanabecestat. Besides, mechanistic studies have revealed that this coupling reaction is likely to proceed via a nitroxide-involving radical pathway, encompassing a chain of electron transfer events, such as hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) and single electron transfer (SET).

Аннотация: The complexation of 3,6-substituted 1,2,4,5-tetrazines with benzotriazole was studied theoretically based on the vibrational spectra. For model complexes, the energy was minimized by the geometrical parameters, and the spectral characteristics were calculated by the PM3 method. The shift of the bond vibration frequencies of the atoms involved in complexation after the formation of different various intermolecular contacts was determined. This made it possible to determine the type of intermolecular interaction and suggest the structures of the complexes

Аннотация: The copper(II) complex formation equilibria of N-(2-carboxyethyl)chitosans with three different degrees of substitution (DS = 0.42, 0.92, and 1.61) were studied in aqueous solution by pH-potentiometric and UV-spectrophotometric techniques. It was demonstrated that the complexation model of CE-chitosans depends on DS: the [Cu(Glc-NR2)2] complexes are predominant for two lower substituted samples ("bridge model", log ?12 = 10.06 and 11.6, respectively), whereas the increase of DS leads to formation mainly of the [Cu(Glc-NR2)] complexes ("pendant model", log ?11 = 6.41). As a model for copper complexation with a disubstituted residue of CE-chitosan, the complex of N-methyliminodipropionate [CuMidp(H2O)]·(H2O) was synthesized and structurally characterized by XRD. The unit cell consists of two crystallographically nonequivalent Cu atoms having slightly distorted square pyramidal coordination; Midp constitutes the basal plane of the pyramid and acts as a tetradentate NO3 chelate-bridging ligand by the formation of two six-membered chelate rings (average Cu-O 1.99 A, Cu-N 2.04 A) and a bridge via carbonyl O atom (average Cu-O 1.99 A), an apical position is occupied by a water molecule (average Cu-Ow 2.30 A).

Аннотация: These data are related to our previous paper “Synthesis and approbation of new neuroprotective chemicals of pyrrolyl-and indolylazine classes in a cell model of Alzheimer’s disease” (Dutysheva et al., 2021), in which we demonstrate neu-roprotective abilities of pyrrolyl- and indolylazines in a cell model of Alzheimer’s disease. Using a novel procedure of photocatalysis we have synthesized a group of new compounds. The current article presents nuclear magnetic resonance spectra including heteronuclear single quantum coherence spectra of chemicals synthesized by us. The effect of new compounds have on heat shock proteins genes expression in reprogrammed human neurons are presented. We also presented data that verify neuronal phenotype of reprogrammed cells.

Аннотация: We synthesize CrxTi1-xSe2 (x = 0–0.83) and CrxTi1-xS2 (x = 0.3–0.4) systems and study the structure of these materials on mono- and polycrystalline samples. It appeared that an increase in chromium content leads to inversion of titanium diselenide intercalated with chromium to chromium diselenide intercalated with titanium. The XPS of core levels and valence bands of 1T-CrxTi1-xSe2 and CrxTi1-xS2 was also investigated and it was shown that in in-layer and inter-layer positions the atoms of chromium and titanium are characterized by a slightly differing oxidation state. Chromium LDOS model calculations were carried out and the results being in agreement with the experimental data show that the Cr 3d density of electronic states of chromium in Ti-positions in the host lattice displays half-metallic properties, while the Cr 3d density of electronic states of intercalated chromium is far from being half-metallic????
