Аннотация: Synthesis of the novel potassium salts of 5-dinitromethyl-7-alkylamino-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a]-1,3,5-triazines 9a–c was performed by heating (in DMSO) 2-alkylamino-4-ethoxymethylidenehydrazino-6-dinitromethyl-1,3,5-triazines 8a–c, obtained by treating of the corresponding 2-alkylamino-4-hydrazino-6-dinitromethyl-1,3,5-triazines 5a–c with orthoformic ester. 2-Alkylamino-4-hydrazino-6-dinitromethyl-1,3,5-triazines were obtained by a sequential substitution of the methoxy groups of the potassium salt of 2,4-dimethoxy-6-dinitromethyl-1,3,5-triazine with an alkylamine (dimethylamine, morpholine, pyrrolidine) and hydrazine

Аннотация: The interaction of 1,2,3,4-tetrachlorobenzene, 2,4,5-trichlorobiphenyl, 2,5,4′-trichlorobiphenyl, a mixture of 1,2,3- and 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene, and industrial mixtures of polychlorinated biphenyls with potassium persulfate in the presence of potassium perfluorobutyrate has been investigated. The oxidation of highly chlorinated benzenes and biphenyls proceeds with lower conversion than that of the low-chlorinated compounds. The oxidation of the highly chlorinated aromatic substrates is not selective; the reaction mixture contains products of several competitive reactions: addition and elimination of radical species, disproportionation, isomerization, etc. The structures of the products have been determined by means of gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection

Аннотация: Alkylation of polyfluoroalkyl-containing pyrazoles with 4-bromobutyl acetate in acetone in the presence of potassium carbonate leads to a mixture of isomeric 1-(4-acetoxybutyl)-3-fluoroalkyl- and 1-(4-acetoxybutyl)-5-fluoroalkylpyrazoles, which in a number of cases were successfully separated by HPLC. Deacylation in acidic medium with gaseous hydrogen chloride and in basic medium with gaseous ammonia leads to 1-(4-hydroxybutyl)pyrazoles, which manifest moderate tuberculostatic activity

Аннотация: Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), also known by the trade name Sovol, are toxic industrial wastes. They have been subjected to chemical treatment by polyethylene glycols (PEGs) and potassium hydroxide. As a result of the interaction of the Sovol with various molecular mass PEGs (MMPEG-4 ∼ 200, MMPEG-22 ∼ 1000), water-soluble mixtures M1 and M2 containing mono(polyethylene glycol)oxy-derivatives (PCB-PEG-4 and PCB-PEG-22), polychlorobiphenylols, and unreacted PCB congeners (PCB 44, PCB 47, PCB 49, PCB 52, and PCB 66) were obtained. It was shown for the first time that mixtures M1 and M2 are susceptible to bacterial degradation without their fractionation. According to the gas-liquid chromatography with flame-ionization and mass-spectrometric detection, the Rhodococcus wratislaviensis KT112-7 strain degraded all of the chemical compounds occurring in the mixtures. In a 5-day experiment, it was found that the KT112-7 strain decomposes mono(polyethylene glycol)oxy-derivatives completely (by 100%) and polychlorobiphenylols and PCB congeners by 90–95% in the M1 and M2 mixtures. The culture medium did not contain transformation products, whereas free chlorine ions were accumulated (72–94% of the maximum possible amount). Thus, the use of the chemical modification and consecutive bacterial degradation provided an effective destruction of technical PCB mixtures with a high content of highly chlorinated congeners

Аннотация: Synthesis and study of the physicochemical properties of silsesquioxanes modified with 3-aminopropyl, 2-aminoethyl-3-aminopropyl, and dithiooxamide groups was carried out. The obtained sorbents were characterized by thermal stability, porosity, and a high degree of functionalization; the concentration of groups grafted to the particle surface reached 2.80 mmol g−1. Modified silsesquioxanes were used as an electroactive substance for the development of indicator carbon paste electrodes (CPEs). When using a CPE with a 5% dithiooxamidated silsesquioxane content, the conditions selected for potentiometric titration of aqueous solutions containing silverI were pH 3–4, the titrant was potassium iodide. The designed sensor was successfully tested by analyzing a standard sample and a drug for silver ion content.

Аннотация: A rational synthetic approach to substituted naphtho[1,8-gh]quinolines based on intramolecular cyclization in the presence of potassium in the series of (naphthalen-1-yl)isoquinolines is described. The photophysical properties of the obtained compounds were studied; in particular, fluorescence emission was detected in the range 454-482 nm with a quantum yield of up to 54%. We also calculated the HOMO-LUMO energies and optimized molecular structures for the resulting fluorophores. Based on the results of fluorescence titration, the Stern-Volmer constants (up to 21587 M-1) and the detection limits of nitroanalytes (up to 1.4 ppm) were calculated, confirming the possibility of their use as potential chemosensors for the visual detection of nitro-containing explosives.

Аннотация: A new type of intramolecular cyclization of 1,5-bis[2-(E-3-oxo-3-phenylprop-1-enyl)-phenoxy]-3-oxapentane with 3-aminotriazole promoted by potassium ions was discovered. A cascade mechanism for the formation of crownophane with 4,7-dihydro[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]-pyrimidine fragment was suggested. Effects of oligooxyethylene fragment of the chalcone podand and acid-base catalysis on the selectivity of the cyclocondensation processes and degree of oxidation of triazolopyrimidine fragments were studied. The product structures were confirmed by IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction study
