Аннотация: This review is focused on consideration of effects of the nature of N,​N'- and N,​O-​bidentate ligands on the structure and optical properties of their B(III) complexes. It has been established that B(III) complexes with asym. N,​N'- and N,​O-​bidentate ligands, such as ortho-​hydroxyphenyl substituted azaheterocycles and heteryl-​β-​ketoimines, exhibit large Stokes shifts, enhanced intensity, and extended range for luminescence in solns. as well as in solid state, comparable with characteristics of the family of BODIPYs derivs. Complexes of some bidentate ligands can be considered as promising fluorophores for applications in biomedical imaging, electroluminescent, solar cell devices, and other fields.

Аннотация: The ‘triazine’ methodology for the synthesis of functionalised bipyridine ligands proved to be a convenient method for the preparation of luminescent Eu(III) complexes. The approach allows flexible construction of chromophore and coordination sphere with control of photophysical properties. Europium (III) complexes [Eu1]-[Eu5] prepared in this way exhibit intense long-life metal-centered luminescence in aqueous media. The aromatic substituent in the position 5 of bipyridine has a significant influence on luminescence parameters and is used to introduce functionality for bioconjugation. The complexes [Eu4] and [Eu5] bearing primary amine groups are ready-to-go luminescent ‘tags’ for peptide labeling

Аннотация: An operationally facile and high yielding one-pot protocol has been developed for the preparation of pyridines appended with pyrazole via NH linker. This protocol includes SNipso/aza-Diels-Alder reactions in up to 54 % yields starting from 1,2,4-triazine precursors. All the synthesized compounds have been evaluated for their in silico activity against JAK1, SYK, and FAK1 kinases. The most promising compound was tested in vitro using A-172, Hs578T, and HepG2 cancer cell lines and exhibited considerable cytotoxicity with IC50 values 50 μM in A-172 and HepG2 cell lines. Anticancer in vitro activity correlates well with the predicted in silico data.

Аннотация: A new method for preparation of 4-hydroxy-3-nitro-1,4-dihydrotriazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]-triazines using 1-nitro-2-morpholinoethylene and 3-diazo-1,2,4-triazoles is proposed. Antiviral activity against the Coxsackie B3 virus and electrochemical transformations of the prepared compounds are studied.

Аннотация: The acylative kinetic resolution of racemic 6-fluoro-2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline, 7,8-difluoro-3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzoxazine, and their non-fluorinated analogues with (S)-naproxen and N-phthaloyl-(S)-amino acyl chlorides has been carried out. It has been shown that the presence of fluorine atoms in the aromatic fragment of a heterocyclic amine results in the increasing stereoselectivity of acylation with (S)-naproxen acyl chloride and in a decrease in the efficiency of acylative kinetic resolution using N-phthaloyl-(S)-amino acyl chlorides. Аннотация: The acylative kinetic resolution of racemic heterocyclic amines such as 3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzoxazines, 3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzothiazine, 2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-quinolines and 2-methylindoline with enantiopure (R)-2-phenoxypropionyl chloride has been studied. It has been found that acylation of 3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzothiazine proceeds with the best stereoselectively when compared with other racemic amines. An efficient method for the preparation of (S)-3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzothiazine (99.4% ee) via a kinetic resolution protocol was developed. The possibility of recycling (R)-2-phenoxypropionic acid has been demonstrated.

Аннотация: Transition metals have been an indispensable component of modern catalysis and among these palladium is the top-ranked choice of chemists as a catalyst. After the several important developments of palladium catalysed C−C cross-coupling reactions, carbonylative transformations have been realised as an attractive post modification of these reactions. Carbonylative Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction is among such transformations for direct incorporation of CO fragment for the preparation of biaryl or aryl/alkyl ketones via transition-metal catalysis. Ketone functionality is basically a valuable building block having huge pharmaceutical and agrochemical applications. Moreover, carbonylative Suzuki-Miyaura coupling is also used in the synthesis of various natural bioactive molecules through the direct joining of molecular fragments via CO bridge. In this review, the past decade developments in the carbonylative Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions are documented in detail with modern approaches in transition-metal catalysis.
