Аннотация: Ethyl 6-amino-4-aryl-5-cyano-2,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-с]pyrazole-3-carboxylates were synthesized via a four-component reaction of the sodium salt of diethyloxaloacetate, an aromatic aldehyde, hydrazine hydrate, and malononitrile. The products were obtained in moderate to high yields.

Therein, ethyl esters were undergone dealkylation leading to formation of diethylammonium carboxylates. Methyl tetrafluorosalicylate was subject to similar transformations, while trifluoro-containing analog gave salt at the hydroxyl group and in which ester fragment was remained.

Аннотация: The results of this study of the electrochemical transformation of 3-R-4-hydroxy-1,4-dihydro-7-X-1,2,4-triazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4] obtained by voltammetry are presented. It was found that 3-R-4-hydroxy-1,4-dihydro-7-X-1,2,4-triazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4] derivatives are capable of electrochemical reduction in the potential range of -0.28 to -0.33 V (relative to Ag/AgCl) in Britton-Robinson buffer at pH = 2. The electrochemical behavior of the sodium salt of 3-nitro-4-hydroxy-7-methylthio-4H-[1,2,4]triazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazinide monohydrate (compound 1), which in silico modeling predicted possible biological activity against various tick-borne encephalitis and Coxsackie B3 viruses. At the potentials of the first stage of electroreduction at pH = 2, the main transformation process is the three-electron reduction scheme of the nitro group of compound 1. It was established that compound 1 in an aprotic medium is reduced in ionic form, most likely in the form of an ion pair with the Na+ cation, and in an aqueous medium in the form of a protonated particle. Based on this, a scheme was proposed for the probable electrochemical transformation of the studied compound.

Аннотация: The synthesis of alkali metal and copper(II) 1-polyfluoroalkyl-4,4-dimethoxypentane-1,3-dionates is reported. The subsequent treatment of these compounds with oxalic acid or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt affords functionalized 1,3-diketones. The nature of the polyfluoroalkyl substituent was found to affect the conditions of the Claisen condensation and the stability of the acetal group in acidic medium.

Аннотация: The conditions for the homogeneous functionalization of polyepichlorohydrin (PECH) with thiourea by the “synthesis in gel” method were experimentally selected. The best solvent for this process is 1,4-dioxane. The reaction mixture visually represents a physical gel in the range of polymer concentrations from 6 to 20%. The composition of the products was characterized by the data of elemental analysis, and specific features of their structure were established using FT-IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetry with the simultaneous IR spectrometric identification of the decomposition products. Thiourea was shown to react with PECH as an ambident nucleophile with the formation of both groups of N-substituted thiourea and fragments of isothiuronium salt. The total degree of functionalization was 90%. The crosslinking of the macromolecules proceeds simultaneously due to which the obtained products with different degrees of functionalization are insoluble in organic solvents. The thiocarbamoylated PECH derivative demonstrates antiselectivity to CuII ions in the sorption of the metal ions of the Irving—Williams series.

Аннотация: The 4-hydroxypyrrolidine-2-carboxanilide podand salt demonstrates catalytic activity in asymmetric Biginelli reaction. The systematic search for prevalent conformational state of the cation was carried out by computer simulations in combination with one- and two-dimensional NMR experiments. For that purpose, we proposed a novel algorithm for the generation and selection of conformers based on molecular dynamics and clustering in the space of principal components. The search had found an important trend of the podand to form a pseudocyclic structure with a horseshoe-shaped conformation of the oligooxyethylene fragment. This conformation is stabilized by different types of intramolecular hydrogen bonds between the acidic and basic centers of the two 4-hydroxypyrrolidine-2-carboxanilide residuals (branches). The proposed approach had made it possible to identify the major structural factors, providing a correlation between the calculated and experimental chemical shifts of hydrogen atoms in the 1H NMR spectra of the protonated podand.

Аннотация: The reactions of functionalized lithium CF3-β-diketonate (LiL) with trivalent rare-earth metal salts in methanol afford homobinuclear and heterobi(tri)nuclear complexes depending on the nature of the transition metal and anion (chlorides, nitrates, and acetates). In the cases of lanthanum(III) and cerium(III), homoleptic complexes [(LnL3)2] are isolated (CIF files CCDC nos. 2031097 (Ia) and 2031102 (Ib)). The reaction of LiL with praseodymium(III) nitrate gives the new trimetallic structure [(LiPrL3)(LiL)(NO3)(H2O)2] (CIF file CCDC no. 2031103 (II)), and the replacement of nitrate by chloride gives [(PrL3)(LiL)(H2O)] (CIF file CCDC no. 2031104 (IIIa)). Regardless of the nature of the anion of the salt in the series from neodymium(III) to ytterbium(III) and yttrium(III), Ln–Li β-diketonates [(LnL3)(LiL)(solv)] (solv is H2O and MeOH) are formed, and their structures are characterized by X-ray structure analysis (CIF files CCDC nos. 2031099 (IIIb), 2031100 (IIIc), 2031098 (IVa), 2031096 (IVc), 2031094 (IVf), 2031101 (IVg), and 2031095 (IVh)). The equilibrium of the diketonate isomeric forms in a solution of deuterated dimethyl sulfoxide is studied by 19F NMR spectroscopy, and the qualitative composition of the polynuclear complexes is determined by mass spectrometry.
