Аннотация: A new synthetic approach to condensed 1,2,4-triazines based on using the tandem AN-SNipso and SNH-SNipso reactions has been developed. 5-Methoxy-3-penyl-l,2,4 1,2,4-triazine and its N1-methyl quaternary salt were found to react with C,N-, C,O- and N,N?-bifunctional nucleophiles (m-phenylenediamine, resorcinol, semicarbazide and ureas) into triazacarbazoles, benzofuro[2,3-e][1,2,4]-triazines, and 6-azapurine derivatives. In all cases nucleophiles attack first the unsubstituted C-6 carbon of the triazine ring, while the final stage is replacement of the methoxy group affording cyclization products.

Аннотация: The composite silica-zirconia xerogels have been prepared via sol-gel method using zirconium oxychloride, oxynitrate, acetate and sodium silicate as the precursors. The prepared materials have been characterized using FTIR, TG/DTA, EDX and surface area analyses. It has been established that surface area of silica-zirconia xerogels significantly depends on the zirconium source, but phase transitions and structural features of the xerogels seem to be unaffected by the choice of the zirconia precursor. Prepared xerogels increase the activity of chiral inductor in the asymmetric Biginelli reaction. The anion of the zirconium salt adsorbed on the surface of the synthesized material and the presence of Si-O-Zr heterolinkages determines the reaction yield. The highest chemo- and enantioselectivity towards formation of ee isomer have been provided by the catalyst prepared from zirconium oxychloride.

Аннотация: N-(2-Pyridylmethyl)iminodipropionic (I) and N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-3-aminopropionic acids (II) were obtained. A reaction of acid I with a Cu(II) salt gave a 2: 2 complex (III); a reaction of acid II with a Ni(II) salt yielded a 1 : 2 complex (IV). The crystal structures of these complexes were determined by X-ray diffraction. The abilities of compounds I and II to form complexes were compared with the literature data for other ligands containing the N-(2-pyridylmethyl)amino fragment. The structural features of the chelate complexes with 2-aminomethylpyridine derivatives were revealed, depending on the other substituents and the metal center

Аннотация: The conditions for the homogeneous functionalization of polyepichlorohydrin (PECH) with thiourea by the “synthesis in gel” method were experimentally selected. The best solvent for this process is 1,4-dioxane. The reaction mixture visually represents a physical gel in the range of polymer concentrations from 6 to 20%. The composition of the products was characterized by the data of elemental analysis, and specific features of their structure were established using FT-IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetry with the simultaneous IR spectrometric identification of the decomposition products. Thiourea was shown to react with PECH as an ambident nucleophile with the formation of both groups of N-substituted thiourea and fragments of isothiuronium salt. The total degree of functionalization was 90%. The crosslinking of the macromolecules proceeds simultaneously due to which the obtained products with different degrees of functionalization are insoluble in organic solvents. The thiocarbamoylated PECH derivative demonstrates antiselectivity to CuII ions in the sorption of the metal ions of the Irving—Williams series.

Аннотация: The synthesis of alkali metal and copper(II) 1-polyfluoroalkyl-4,4-dimethoxypentane-1,3-dionates is reported. The subsequent treatment of these compounds with oxalic acid or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt affords functionalized 1,3-diketones. The nature of the polyfluoroalkyl substituent was found to affect the conditions of the Claisen condensation and the stability of the acetal group in acidic medium.

Аннотация: The reactions of functionalized lithium CF3-β-diketonate (LiL) with trivalent rare-earth metal salts in methanol afford homobinuclear and heterobi(tri)nuclear complexes depending on the nature of the transition metal and anion (chlorides, nitrates, and acetates). In the cases of lanthanum(III) and cerium(III), homoleptic complexes [(LnL3)2] are isolated (CIF files CCDC nos. 2031097 (Ia) and 2031102 (Ib)). The reaction of LiL with praseodymium(III) nitrate gives the new trimetallic structure [(LiPrL3)(LiL)(NO3)(H2O)2] (CIF file CCDC no. 2031103 (II)), and the replacement of nitrate by chloride gives [(PrL3)(LiL)(H2O)] (CIF file CCDC no. 2031104 (IIIa)). Regardless of the nature of the anion of the salt in the series from neodymium(III) to ytterbium(III) and yttrium(III), Ln–Li β-diketonates [(LnL3)(LiL)(solv)] (solv is H2O and MeOH) are formed, and their structures are characterized by X-ray structure analysis (CIF files CCDC nos. 2031099 (IIIb), 2031100 (IIIc), 2031098 (IVa), 2031096 (IVc), 2031094 (IVf), 2031101 (IVg), and 2031095 (IVh)). The equilibrium of the diketonate isomeric forms in a solution of deuterated dimethyl sulfoxide is studied by 19F NMR spectroscopy, and the qualitative composition of the polynuclear complexes is determined by mass spectrometry.
