Аннотация: The reaction of fluorine-containing glycidyl ethers with various alcohols ( i-PrOH, MeOH, PhOH, 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropanol) in basic medium resulted in products of regioselective opening of the oxirane ring. In reaction of 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyloxymethyloxirane with 2-propanol under conditions of phase-transfer catalysis the main product was the corresponding 1,2-diol (yield 42%).

Аннотация: Complete esters of pentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane, and 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol with polyfluorinated carboxylic acids were prepared by esterification. As determined by differential thermal gravimetric analysis in air, the resistance of the esters to thermal oxidation decreases in going from pentaerythritol derivatives to those of trimethylolpropane and then to those of 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol. The compounds synthesized surpass their nonfluorinated analogs in the resistance to thermal oxidation.

Аннотация: The synthesis of iodo(perfluoroalkyl)epoxides by radical addition of perfluoroalkyl iodides to allyl glycidyl ether and 1,2-epoxydec-9-ene is described. Dehydroiodination of additional products upon treatment with 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) gives unsaturated products. The use of Bu3SnH/Bz2O2 as a reduction reagent of iodo(perfluoroalkyl)allyl glycidyl ethers allows to save oxirane ring. Cationic polymerization of saturated or functional (with iodine or double bond) fluoroalkyl oxiranes under action of catalytic amount of BF3.Et2O proceeds only on epoxide group. In case of poly(9-iod-10-(perfluoroalkyl)-1,2-epoxyalkane) iodine atoms are removed by standard zinc reduction

Аннотация: The geometric isomerism and tautomeric equilibrium of 5-fluoroalkyl-3-acetyldihydrofuran-2(3H)-ones obtained by condensation of (perfluoroalkyl)methyloxiranes with acetoacetic ester were studied. In the solid state the acyl-?-lactones are in diketo form, mainly as cis isomer, whose structure is confirmed by the data of X-ray structural investigation, while in solution an equilibrium exists of cis-trans isomers and an enol form, as established by 1D and 2D methods of 1H, 13C, and 19F NMR spectroscopy

Аннотация: Zol-gel process was used to synthesize equilibrium mixtures of mono-, di-, and trimester derived from trimethylolpropane and perfluorocarboxylic acids. The elution order of the components of the mixtures from a weakly polar HP-5 column was established. The mass spectra of the synthesized compounds were studied. The GC-MS parameters of the products were compared with the respective parameters of their nonfluorinated analogs. The characteristics of the fluorinated esters have features determined by the esterification degree and the nature of the perfluoroalkyl groups, due to which these compounds can be identified in mixtures

The kinetics of the reactions of the modifiers with the anhydride were studied by differential scanning calorimetry and IR spectroscopy. Аннотация: The reactions of a mixture of 1,2,3- and 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene and polychlorinated biphenyls congeners of the industrial mixture Sovol with neopentyl glycol in the presence of alkali in DMSO medium was studied. In the conditions of nucleophilic substitution the aromatic compounds are converted completely. Using the method of gas chromatography with flame ionization and mass spectrometric detectors the structure of all synthesized compounds was studied and the following series of increasing reactivity of the polychlorinated biphenyls congeners was revealed: tetra- < penta- < hexachlorobiphenyls. The process can serve as a preliminary step of the preparation of industrial waste for the subsequent biological degradation
