Аннотация: Bis(N,N-dimethylamino)methane has been shown to be a convenient reagent for the aminomethylation of chlorophyll a derivatives. Methylpheophorbide a (in enol form) and chlorin e6 13-amides were aminomethylated with bis(N,N-dimethylamino)methane. Reactivity of methylpheophorbide a exo-ring and chlorin e6 13-amides vinyl group were shown to be different. Selective methylpheophorbide a exo-ring aminomethylation was realized and isomerization of the exo-ring aminomethylation product with rhodochlorin 15-acrylic derivative formation was studied. The action of bis(N,N- dimethylamino)-methane in the presence of weak acid has been shown to be a simple and effective synthetic procedure to obtain a new chlorin e6 derivative with two N,N-dimethylaminomethyl substituents in the vinyl group. The aminomethylation products' high yields, the simplicity of the procedure, the use of metal-free chlorines and the possible synthesis of new compounds, were found to be the main advantages of using bis(N,N-dimethylamino)methane as an aminomethylation reagent in chlorophyll a derivatives' chemistry

Аннотация: The N-[(3-amino-1,2-dicarba-closo-dodecaboran-1-yl)acetyl] derivatives of amino acids were prepared starting from N-protected (Ac, Form, Bz, and Boc) 3-amino-1-(carboxymethyl)-o-carboranes and alkyl esters of natural amino acids using the carbodiimide method of coupling and removing the ester groups. All the amides obtained were diastereoisomeric mixtures. Some diastereoisomers were separated and the assignment of the absolute configuration of aminocarborane fragments was performed by X-ray crystallography

Аннотация: A comparative study of the kinetic resolution of racemic 2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline and 2,3-dihydro-3-methyl-4H-1,4-benzoxazine using N-phthaloyl-(S)-amino acyl chlorides as chiral acylating agents is described. Temperature and solvent effects on the stereochemical features have been examined. It has been found that N-phthaloyl-(S)-phenylalanyl and N-phthaloyl-(S)-2-phenylglycyl chlorides bearing aromatic substituents close to the stereogenic centre are more stereoselective acylating agents than N-phthaloyl-(S)-alanyl chloride. For the preparative kinetic resolution of racemic amines N-phthaloyl-(S)-phenylalanyl chloride proved to be the most appropriate chiral acylating agent

Аннотация: The acylative kinetic resolution of racemic 2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline and 2,3-dihydro-3-methyl-4H-1,4-benzoxazine using acyl chlorides of N-phthaloyl-(S)-phenylalanine, N-phthaloyl-3-(4-nitrophenyl)-(S)-alanine and N-phthaloyl-O-methyl-(S)-tyrosine as chiral resolving agents has been carried out. It is shown that the effectiveness of an acylative kinetic resolution depends on the electronic effects of substituents in the phenyl fragment of the acylating agent and increases as the electron-donating properties of the para-substituent (OMe H NO2) in phenyl fragment of N-phthaloyl-3-aryl-(S)-alanyl chlorides increase; conducting the process at a reduced temperature also contributes to an enhancement of the kinetic resolution

Аннотация: The comparative X ray diffraction study of racemic and (S) enantiomer of 7,8 difluoro 3 methyl 2,3 dihydro 4H [1,4]benzoxazine was carried out. The both forms of benzoxazine are crystallized in the orthorhombic crystal system, the (S) enantiomer is crystallized in the chiral space group P212121, while the racemate is crystallized in the centrosymmetric Pbca space group. The bond lengths and bond and torsional angles in the both molecules are almost equal. The packing of the racemate is characterized by a closer interaction of polar NH...О groups.

Аннотация: Acylative kinetic resolution of racemic amines occupies a highly important place among the methods for preparation of enantio enriched or pure amines. Nonenzymatic acylative kinetic resolution is usually carried out in the presence of chiral acyl-transfer catalysts or under the action of chiral enantio- or diastereoselective resolving agents. Recently, this line of investigations has been rapidly developed and very interesting results of design and synthetic application of both new catalysts and chiral acylating agents have been obtained. This microreview summarizes the recent advances in this area.

Аннотация: Synthetic routes to novel N-(purin-6-yl)- and N-(2-aminopurin-6-yl) conjugates with amino acids and glycine-containing dipeptides were developed. In vitro testing of 42 new and known compounds made it possible to reveal a series of N-(purin-6-yl)- and N-(2-aminopurin-6-yl) conjugates exhibiting significant antimycobacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv, Mycobacterium avium, Mycobacterium terrae, and multidrug-resistant M. tuberculosis strain isolated from tuberculosis patients in the Ural region (Russia). N-(2-Aminopurin-6-yl)- and N-(purin-6-yl)-glycyl-(S)-glutamic acids were the most active compounds. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved

Аннотация: The acylative kinetic resolution of racemic heterocyclic amines such as 3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzoxazines, 3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzothiazine, 2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-quinolines and 2-methylindoline with enantiopure (R)-2-phenoxypropionyl chloride has been studied. It has been found that acylation of 3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzothiazine proceeds with the best stereoselectively when compared with other racemic amines. An efficient method for the preparation of (S)-3,4-dihydro-3-methyl-2H-[1,4]benzothiazine (99.4% ee) via a kinetic resolution protocol was developed. The possibility of recycling (R)-2-phenoxypropionic acid has been demonstrated.

Chiral HPLC methods for the analysis of enantiomeric purity of this compound was developed.
