Аннотация: Acidic hydrolysis of N-acyl 1-methyl- and 1-phenyl-3-amino-1,2-dicarba-closo-dodecaboranes has been studied. It has been shown that acidic hydrolysis of diastereomeric amides of 1-methyl-3-amino-1,2-dicarba-closo-dodecaborane results in the partial racemization of the target 3-amino-1-methylcarborane. Under the similar conditions, the hydrolysis of N-acyl-3-amino-1-phenyl-1,2-dicarba-closo-dodecaboranes resulted in amide bond cleavage accompanied by simultaneous deboronation with the removal of boron atom at position 6 of carborane cage and formation of 7,8-dicarba-nido-undecaborane derivative according to 11B and 1H NMR spectroscopy.

Аннотация: Reactions of chromones with dilithiooximes proceed via nucleophilic 1,2-addition to give, on acidification, 4H-chromene-4-spiro-5-isoxazoline derivatives in high yields. On treatment with concentrated H2SO4 the isoxazoline ring of this novel spiroannulated heterocyclic system opens to give alfa,beta-unsaturated oximes, which undergo nitrosation, bromination, and the Beckmann rearrangement to the corresponding spiroisoxazolines and alfa,beta-unsaturated amides, respectively. The latter can be obtained directly by the Beckmann rearrangement of 4H-chromene-4-spiro-5`-isoxazolines

Аннотация: Bis(N,N-dimethylamino)methane has been shown to be a convenient reagent for the aminomethylation of chlorophyll a derivatives. Methylpheophorbide a (in enol form) and chlorin e6 13-amides were aminomethylated with bis(N,N-dimethylamino)methane. Reactivity of methylpheophorbide a exo-ring and chlorin e6 13-amides vinyl group were shown to be different. Selective methylpheophorbide a exo-ring aminomethylation was realized and isomerization of the exo-ring aminomethylation product with rhodochlorin 15-acrylic derivative formation was studied. The action of bis(N,N- dimethylamino)-methane in the presence of weak acid has been shown to be a simple and effective synthetic procedure to obtain a new chlorin e6 derivative with two N,N-dimethylaminomethyl substituents in the vinyl group. The aminomethylation products' high yields, the simplicity of the procedure, the use of metal-free chlorines and the possible synthesis of new compounds, were found to be the main advantages of using bis(N,N-dimethylamino)methane as an aminomethylation reagent in chlorophyll a derivatives' chemistry

All the amides obtained were diastereoisomeric mixtures. Some diastereoisomers were separated and the assignment of the absolute configuration of aminocarborane fragments was performed by X-ray crystallography

Аннотация: The paper describes the synthesis of (2S,4S)-4-(N-Ts)- and (2S,4S)-4-(N-Boc)-phenylamino-5-oxoprolines (pyroglutamic acid). These derivatives have been shown to be useful for synthesis of their amides and peptides in spite of steric hindrances caused by bulky groups adjacent to the reaction centre. Under the conditions applied no lactam ring opening and no loss of stereochemical integrity of any of the chiral centres were observed, which has been confirmed by NMR techniques.

Zinc enolates prepared from alkyl 2,2-dialkyl-4,4-dibromo-3-oxopentanoates and-hexanoates and zinc react with N-substituted 2-oxochromen-3-carboxamides to give rise to esters of 3-(1-alkyl-1a-(R3-carbamoyl)-2-oxo-1a,7b-dihydrocyclopropa-[c]chromen-1-yl)-2,2-dialkyl-3-oxopropanoic acid as isomers with the E-position of the methine proton and the alkyl substituent. The reaction carried out in the presence of small quantities of THF and HMPA leads to the formation of 9c-alkyl-2-R3-9b,9c-dihydro-5-oxa-2-azacyclopenta[2,3]-cyclopropa[1,2-a]naphthalene-1,3,4-triones. Аннотация: Reactions of chromones with methyl ketoximes in the presence of lithium diisopropylamide follow the nucleophilic 1,2-addition mechanism to give spiro[4H-chromene-4,5?-isoxazolines] in good yields. The isoxazoline ring in spiro[4H-chromene-4,5?-isoxazolines] undergoes opening under the action of conc. H2SO4, yielding ?,?-unsaturated oximes. Their nitrosation and bromination lead to the corresponding spiroisoxazolines, while the Beckmann rearrangement, to ?,?-unsaturated amides. The latter are also formed directly from spiro[4H-chromene-4,5?-isoxazolines] under the action of PCl5. N-Substituted acetophenone hydrazones in the presence of lithium diisopropylamide react at the C(4) atom of 2-trifluoromethylchromone, while acetophenone anil under the same conditions, at the C(2) atom

Аннотация: A three-component condensation of 1,2,3- or 1,2,4-trimethoxybenzene with isobutyric aldehyde and alkyl cyanoacetates in the presence of sulfuric acid resulted in the formation of substituted 2-azaspiro[4.5]deca-6,9-diene-8-ones. The same reaction of aromatic nitriles yielded 2-azaspiro[4.5]deca-1,6,9-triene-8-ones; in the case of 1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene corresponding Ritter amides were also observed. The condensation of 1,3,5-trimethoxybenzene with isobutyric aldehyde and alkyl cyanoacetates provided the compounds of the formal Knoevenagel condensation
