Аннотация: Based on the high-resolution data on the absorption lines of gases from the HITRAN open inter-national database in conjunction with inverse Fourier transform, the autocorrelation function of the total dipole moment of the molecules of the main greenhouse gases, such as H2O, CO2, O3, N2O, and CH4, are determined. The spectral absorption coefficient and spectral radiance of these gases in the investigated IR region is calculated. An analysis of the emissivity of each of the gases is performed. An efficiency criterion of IR absorption and emission is introduced, according to which the studies gases are ranked

Аннотация: Coadsorption of ozone molecules and nitrate ions by water clusters was studied by the molecular dynamics technique. The maximum value of an average O-H⋯O bond length in a water carcass is realized at the minimum specific number of such bonds when the ratio of adsorbed ozone molecules to nitrate ions captured by a cluster is two. Аннотация: Absorption and reflection IR spectra of aqueous disperse systems that absorbed carbon oxide molecules are calculated. Systems of small and large clusters containing 2 ≤ n ≤ 10 and 11 ≤ n ≤ 20 water molecules, respectively, are studied. Each cluster can absorb one or two carbon oxide molecules. Both real and imaginary parts of dielectric permittivity of disperse systems depend on the number of adsorbed CO molecules to a greater extent than that of water molecules in clusters. The integral intensity of the absorption of IR radiation by cluster systems increases after the absorption of carbon oxide molecules by clusters. However, the ability to absorb and reflect IR radiation decreases with an increase in the concentration of absorbed CO molecules. Upon the growth of heteroclusters due to addition of water molecules, integral intensity of the absorption of thermal radiation can be enhanced or damped. In general, the clusterization and capture of CO molecules by clusters result in an anti-greenhouse effect

Аннотация: The influence of the space charge of ions emitted from the surface of a conical spike on its shape has been studied. The problem of the calculation of the spatial distributions of the electric field, ion velocity field, and the space charge density near the cone tip has been reduced to the analysis of a system of ordinary differential equations. As a result of numerical solution of these equations, the criterion for the balance of the capillary and electrostatic forces on the conic surface of a liquid-metal anode has been determined. It has allowed us to relate the electrical current flowing through the system, the applied potential difference, and the cone angle. We have compared the results of our calculations with available experimental data concerning emission from the surface of pure liquid gallium, indium, tin, and some liquid alloys, such as Au+Si, Co+Ge, and Au+Ge. On the basis of the proposed model, explanations have been given for a number of specific features of the emissive behavior of different systems.
