Аннотация: Приводится способ термодинамического расчета сложного газового равновесия реакций, одновременно протекающих при конверсии углеводородов водяным паром. Рассчитаны координаты некоторых фиксированных значений фигуративных точек кривых в тройной системе C-H-O, символизирующих границы углеродоотложения для 873 и 973 К при равновесии. На диаграмме выделена трапециевидная область составов газовых смесей, отвечающих в равновесии реальным рабочим составам. Область охватывает все вещественные составы газовых смесей, которые могут реализоваться в конверсионном объеме при возможных на практике колебаниях рабочей температуры высокотемпературного карбонатного топливного элемента-генератора в пределах плюс-минус 50 градусовA method is offered for the thermodynamic calculation of a complex equilibrium of gaseus reactions simultaneously occurring during the conversion of hydrocarbons by steam. The coordinates of some fixed values of figurative points of curves are calculated for the ternary C-H-O system, which denote the boundaries of carbon deposition at 873 and 973 K during equilibrium. A trapezoidal region is identified in the diagram for the compositions of gaseus mixtures, which correspond to the real working compositions. This region encompasses all the material compositions of the gaseous mixtures which can be obtained in the conversion space during fluctuations within plus-minus 50 C of the working temperature that are possible in practice in a high-temperature carbonate fuel cell

Аннотация: It is suggested that a charge carrier transport in superionic conductors may follow an anomalous (e.g., superdiffusive) mechanism owing to effects of the fractality and the clustering. An anomalous penetration of "hot" deuterium ions (D of about 100 keV) in doped SrCeO3-type oxides can be modeled by using a diffusion-like equation with fractional derivatives in place of commonly used Fick's law. A tail exponent gamma for concentration distribution in proton conductors is introduced. A comparison with experimental data is made

Аннотация: The present paper reports on the preparation of three- and bilayer graphene and boron doped graphene defect-free large films by electrochemical synthesis in molten alkali chlorides. It is shown that the morphology and composition of the resulting graphene and boron doped graphene films with total boron concentration up to 57 at.% which can be carefully controlled by the parameters of the deposition process, i.e., boron carbide concentration, synthesis temperature, and the applied anodic current density, in particular. The Raman spectra of boron doped graphene reveal the additional characteristic boron peaks aside from the traditional graphene ones. The intensity of these boron peaks is shown to be affected by boron concentration in graphene.

Аннотация: This paper describes the influence of ZrCl4, which is electrochemically inert under experimental conditions, on uranium dioxide current efficiency during the (NaCl-KCl)equim-UO2Cl2 (10-20 wt.%)-ZrCl4 (0-12 wt.%) melt electrolysis at temperatures of 700 and 750 °C and at electrolysis current densities of 0.08-0.63 A/cm2. An extreme dependence of the uranium dioxide current efficiency on the ZrCl4 concentration and the corresponding minimum and maximum was found. The ZrCl4 influence on the UO2 current efficiency is assumed to be caused by the changes in the mechanism of UO22+ ion reduction to uranium dioxide

Аннотация: Amperometric hydrogen sensors based on proton-conducting solid electrolytes of La0.95Sr0.05YO3, CaTi0.95Sc0.05O3 and CaZr0,9Sc0.1O3 compositions are prepared and investigated in the present work. The influence of the sensor design on its own characteristics is also examined. It is shown that a solid electrolyte used in the form of discs with cavities significantly simplifies the design of this type of sensors. A sensor based on La0.95Sr0.05YO3 electrolyte with fully sealed junction between discs is suitable for the analysis of mixtures with high H2 content. It is found that by increasing H2 content from 10 to 98% the limiting current increases from 0.25 to 2.25 mA (at 750 mV). It is also found that the sensor based on La0.95Sr0.05YO3 with discs sealed in two points as well as the sensor based on CaZr0,9Sc0.1O3 with fully sealed junction are suitable for the analysis of mixtures with low H2 content (0.5-2%). For the above cases, the limiting current at 2% H2 reaches 3.5 and 0.5 mA (at 750 mV), respectively. CaTi0.95Sc0.05O3 is not suitable to be used as a hydrogen sensor. In all the examined systems, steam content does not affect sensors’ behavior and high operating temperatures (850 °C) increase the range of sensors’ hydrogen measuring concentration capacity.

The pilot electrolysis device used to produce calcium from copper-calcium alloys at 12 to 15 kA was developed. The calcium production using the bipolar electrolyzer was proved to be possible and was experimentally tested.

Аннотация: The present paper is devoted to Ni-cermet degradation phenomena and places emphasis on experimental approaches and data handling. The resistivity of Ni-YSZ cermet (nickel and 8 mol.% yttria stabilized zirconia) anode substrates was monitored during 3000 h at 700 and 800 °C in a gas mixture of 80 vol.% water vapor and 20 vol.% hydrogen. The experimentally evaluated dependence of resistivity of the Ni-YSZ substrates can be well described by exponential decay functions. Post test analysis by image processing and XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis for characterization of the microstructure and elemental composition were carried out for virgin samples and after 300, 1000 and 3000 h of exposure time. The 3D-microstructure was reconstructed using an original spheres packing algorithm. Two processes leading to the Ni-YSZ degradation were observed: Ni-phase particle coarsening and volatilization. The effect of these processes on resistivity and such microstructure parameters as porosity, Ni-phase fraction, Ni and YSZ phases particle size distributions, triple phase boundary length, and tortuosity factor are considered in this paper.

Аннотация: The anisotropy of the growth rate and the morphology of the potassium-lithium oxide tungsten bronze single crystals during the electrolysis in the 0.30K2WO4-0.25Li2WO4-0.45WO3 melt at 700 C under potentiostatic conditions in the overpotential range from 0 to 70 mV have been studied. An anomalous decrease in the growth rate of the {1010} face has been observed at overpotential values above 30 mV. It was decided that the process of selforganization takes place. Аннотация: Existing designs of reference electrodes for potentiometric measurements in fluoride melts do not meet basic requirements of the long exposure corrosion tests to be performed. A new diaphragm-free three-electrode meter with a nonstationary (dynamic) beryllium reference electrode for the redox potential measurements was developed. Optimum conditions of forming dynamic beryllium reference electrode were determined in the laboratory tests in isothermal cell. The device for redox potential measurement was designed and it was shown that it is highly sensitive to changes redox potential within ±5 mV. Reliability and efficiency of diaphragm-free device with dynamic reference electrode was confirmed in the thermal convection corrosion loop operating more than 1200 h with molten 15LiF–58NaF–27BeF2 mixture (mol%) at a maximum temperature of about 700 °C.????
